Ann
E. Rose was the mother of Minnie Rose Towler and lived with
Minnie shortly before her death.
Anna's
husband was a "capitalist" who was one of the original
stockholders of a local bank in Corunna. This is no doubt how
Anna was able to finance her share of the stock in the
corporation and why a woman of her age could/would have done so.
Edward Rose, age 86 years. Died 1/31/1906 at Corunna,
Michigan. A stockholder for 40 yrs in First National Bank
of Corunna and only man who was an original stockholder and
kept his stock until the bank ceased to exist a couple of
years ago (at the time this was written). Anna was his second wife.
Minnie and Bert were
children of that marriage. Theodore was from his first
marriage. Edward's first wife died when Theodore was 1 month old.
Edward was born in New York state. This appears to be
a common thread with the members of the corporation.
