Mary T. Elmer |
Mary T. Elmer was a nurse for a very short time. Her sister's address is listed for AGM&M after 1931. Mary Elmer was a sister to Julia Elmer Duff. According to family, Mary returned to Minnesota and lived with her sister, Julia, after Anna Durkee died. Her father, Oscar Elmer, was a minister in New York and then in Minnesota.
UPDATED INFO: Mary died in 1955 in
Minneapolis. She also may have been living in California. Mary was
living with Anna and Julia in Spokane. She was last listed in
the 1912 Spokane City Directory. Update 3/2005: Mary and Anna were living in New York at 141 E. 44th Street. This has been documented from a letter to Mary T. Elmer at that address from former President Herbert Hoover. The original letter is at the Hoover Library at Stanford University. |
